First Step to Inner Peace

Above is a picture of the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. It is a great place to visit and one could spend days viewing everything there is to see. Besides, it is FREE to get inside.  It reminds me of a story of a father who brought his two kids to the Museum for the first time. As the kids entered the Museum their eyes were wide opened, filled with the wonder of all they saw. As the kids began to look at the exhibits, the father became worried about the all the time the kids were taking and said to them "Will you both hurry up and stop looking at everything, we will never see everything." The first step to a more peaceful life is to slow down, take your time, stop rushing and stressing yourself out. It is something I have started to try and do and have to admit it is not easy. We tend to be like the father and not like the two kids.

The photos are beautiful - the thought commentary is just as beautiful and so simplistically thoughtful!
