There is a well known saying in Eastern Teaching: "You Never Cross the Same River Twice." We have a habit of looking for big life changing events in order to change our lives and sometimes those events may come. However, true change comes with our day to day routines. You may see the same thing day after day and at first glance it may seem the same. But everyday things change. For example, the image of the above River in Alaska will change day to day. The rushing water will cut the rock, stones will be moved from their spots, debris will work its way down the river and the river may change its course over time. As you go throughout your daily routines, look closely for the subtle changes around you and when you become aware of them, your life will change too.
