Half In, Half Out

Above is an image of a Hippo at the Busch Garden Zoo in Tampa Florida. The Hippo spend most of its life half in the water and half out of the water. It can survive in one environment or the other environment. Its adaptability is key to how it has survived in this world. We often need that skill of half in, half out to survive in our own world. Half In is our living with others and interactions with others to have a sound social life and Half Out is our own space to maintain our unique self. Both are necessary for living in this world we find ourselves. One half may be stronger than the other, but both are essential for our well being. Take time to explore your feelings when you interact and see when you are "HALF IN, HALF OUT!"
