Above is an image of a Sheep Dog in Ireland taken on a recent trip to that country. It was amazing to see the way these dogs work, they were able to follow and obey commands on certain whistles. Each dog had its own whistle and the sheepherder could get the sheep to obey by the use of the dogs. In fact the dog could even take care of the herd all by itself. As I watched the dogs work, I thought this is what our workforce expects of us. We obey commands, do what we are told, and bring our projects to their completed end. However, this is not the way things work at our jobs. We don't always agree with our supervision and we have our own ideas on what should be done to get to our goal and lets be honest we hate when we are whistled to do things. All our bosses can do is sit back and sigh wishing "IF ONLY WE COULD ALL BE SHEEP DOGS!"
