Above is an image of the Augustinian Friary in Adare Ireland, from a recent trip to Ireland. The 13th century building was interesting to imagine how life must have been in the Middle Ages for the people back then. The narrow passageways, the steps that lead to the top of the monastery, the graves of the people who lived there, and the church within the walls. It is important for us to visit the past to see what was good about life and what was bad. Life in that time period was simple, but it was hard and just like today there was a caste system between the rich and the poor. Some things never change. When you visit old places imagine the life lived and see the good, the bad, and the ugly of "IMAGINING THE PAST!"
