Above is an image from the Green Cay Wetlands boardwalk where you will find walkers and photographers sharing the same boardwalk. There are I believe two kinds of people walking on the boardwalk at the same time. Those "walking IN nature" and those "walking INTO nature." Those "walking in nature" are plugged into their electronic devices, listening to the top 40 songs or some book or just chatting with a friend. They are in nature but are still connected to the outside world and thus not really experiencing nature. Those "walking into nature" are the people who look and see, but are also listening to nature. They hear the screech of the hawk flying above, the call of a moorhen, the chirping of the cicadas, the croaking of the frogs, the singing of the blackbirds and most importantly the "silence" that pervades all of nature. To experience nature and all the benefits it can bring, I believe one must be "WALKING INTO NATURE!"
